Telecom Installation & Commissioning (TI)

In the installation and commissioning phase, the site transforms from a bare structure into an active telecommunications node. This process includes the installation of GSM/UMTS/LTE antennas, microwave radios, RRU/BTS, rectifiers, batteries, feeder cabling, fiber and power lines, indoor RBS equipment setup, and final testing. The quality of this phase directly impacts network KPIs and user experience.

The TI team first installs all equipment according to technical drawings and operator standards, then inspects all electrical and structural connections. Key activities include VSWR tests, DTF, power measurements, microwave link configuration, antenna alignment, BSC/NodeB/eNodeB integration, and PAT testing. Detailed documentation of all steps is prepared for handover to the operator.
